Sebokeng Father Prepares Family Burial

A heartbroken Sebokeng father faces the devastating task of organising a funeral for his entire family. His wife and three children perished in a horror house fire on Saturday morning.
The fast-moving blaze rapidly engulfed the family home in Zone 12 while they slept. The father survived the tragedy but could not save his loved ones from the thick smoke.
“Winter is the biggest problem when it comes to house fires, now the poor man has to bury all four of his family,” said one unnamed community member who was at the scene.
Emergency responders later discovered the bodies of the three children and their 46-year-old mother in separate rooms. Authorities believe all four victims succumbed to smoke inhalation before they could escape.
Executive Mayor, Hassan Mako, and Gauteng MEC for Social Development, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko, visited the grieving father to pledge state support. A professional social worker has also been deployed to provide urgent trauma counselling.
Investigators are still working to determine the exact cause of the fatal electrical fault. The tragedy serves as a grim reminder of winter heating hazards.
