Ama Qamata, Africa’s beauty palette, held the fort for Africa at the L'Oréal Paris Fashion Week after she was announced as brand ambassador for Sub-Saharan Africa last week, 24 September 2025.
Just as her acting career was taking off, she received recognition to grace the Paris runway where her native sisters had once featured, the phenomenal Thuso Mbedu and Bonang Matheba.
Anna rocked the runway with a glamorous red tasseled bodycon dress with matching fire red heels – her look screamed elegant, flashy, and powerful.
The fashion show was oozing with beautiful fashion garments worn by accomplished figures like Viola Davis, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, and Helen Mirren.
Ama Qamata’s presence on the runway, drenched in a rich red colour, was more than a fashion moment, it was a cultural statement displaying African beauty at its best.
Signaling a shift towards a more inclusive and authentic beauty industry.
As the lights dimmed and applause roared, the record was set! The beauty of Sub-Saharan Africa will forever exist, and the world is taking note!
