South African house music icon DJ Zinhle has set the stage for today's massive Zee Nation Fest with the release of her highly anticipated self-titled EP, ZINHLE.

The eight-track Afro-house project arrives alongside news that her hit single Baba Yilwa has officially achieved Double Platinum status.

“My EP is finally out…As we build up to Zee Nation Fest this Sunday, we spent last night celebrating three very special milestones with our industry friends and family: the release of my EP, Zee Nation Fest, and Baba Yilwa officially going Double Platinum. What a beautiful night it was,” the DJ shared with excitement.

Dropped on 7 August, the new record channels the nostalgic, uplifting house sounds that first catapulted the star to fame with her classic hit My Name Is.

Headlining the project is the warm Afro-house anthem Uthando, featuring the powerful talents of tribal vocalist Thobani White and Nayvee Womculo.

The release follows the massive airplay success of lead singles Njengemali and Baba Yilwa, both of which have dominated local radio airwaves for eleven weeks.

Featuring a golden and brown inspired aesthetic, the project reflects a deeply personal story of growth, purpose, and returning to the sound that fans first fell in love with.

The star and Era brand founder expressed profound gratitude to her husband, Bongani Mohosana - popularly known as Mörda or Murdah Bongz -  and her two daughters for their unwavering support throughout her journey.
